Submit A ReviewWe have had two houses built by Cardinal Homes and have been happy with both. The symmetrical cape is 1400 square feet plus a finished heated basement which is another 1400 square feet and an unfinished attic which could add another 750 square feet. It was completed in 2010 and I have had no problems. It is total electric (heat pump) and my bill averages about $100 a month. Our first house was built in 1999 and we had no major issues there either.
Overall we were very pleased with our Cardinal home. We had it built in 1998. I was surprised by my electric bill, it was very low, and we had two stories. We sold the home a year ago, and we liked it so much, we are going to have another Cardinal home built. I would recommend Cardinal homes to anyone.
We couldn't be happier with our Cardinal home. They built to our floor plan including vaulted ceilings and "lifestyle" features such as wider hallways, 36" doors, and level front entry. Quality is excellent - we had one small settlement crack after a year in the house. We appreciate the "green" attributes of our home including the limited impact on the building site, and the energy savings as a result of the great insulation. We built in 2002 and would definitely do it all again, and have convinced friends to build their new home through Cardinal.
From the first moment I met with my builder that handled the ordering, delivery, set up and finishing of my Cardinal home, We were extremely pleased with the level of service, quality of materials and timely manner of product from start to finish. I truly believe it was my builder that made all the difference, but we do feel Cardinal produces a quality product for the money.
